In my case it can't be the sd because that still works with the adapter. Hmm.

mine did also if i used a usb card reader it worked but not with the usb cord so goto a store they should do it for you

Since me and my friend have the same phone i borrowed his cable and that corrected my problem so i can connect to pc via usb now. give it a shot.
