Thats right! The official swype keyboard is now available. Having used the unofficial leak for a while, i'm excited for this. To get the official swype, go to:

It's awesome. Been using it since last night, and I love it.  No problems installing it on my Intercept, and I am surprised at the accuracy.  I can see this decreasing my use of the hardware keyboard.

I just found this amazing new keyboard that just went into beta it's called swype and instead of me just explaining it to you just check this site out

http://beta.swype.com/

but if you still want to here it then this keyboard is different because you don't just tap out every letter you slide from letter to letter and lift when you are finished with that word then slide your finger to start the next word and automatically add a space it's really cool and the beta will colse so sign up while you can

Beta testing has been closed on this.  Does anyone have another source of install?  I would love to try it!

hey guys - any other links up there?

taboo - I sent you an email from my gmail ryr2008  -

So this installer is a two part process - I am guessing 1st part is downloader /  2nd part is the installer?

I know that you have to enable it in Locale and Text - That's not what you meant by second part of installing right?

I found another version but I think it was for droid which says my screen resolution is compatible -

here's the one i've been using (for about a week)

rapidshare.com/files/354228280/Swype.micro.1.16.apk

it's the 'lite' version, meaning, xda stripped out the help and stuff.  it work well for me.  download it, install it using appmanager/astro, and then enable it via locale/text.

I've been using this for a bit now. Love it. Great one handed keyboard and surprisingly accurate.
